This is an improvisation around the writing of geography in order to include in the map the data that is usually denied to it, to include the outline of the path travelled but also and above all the rest: what the walker reaps there, the wound that will make him slow down, the fields of wheat crossed, what he thinks there, how he lives there. It's the story of a journey whose four main stages follow one another in space: routine, accident, rest and encounter.

The presentation system, designed and conceived in collaboration with designer Pierre Bourré, tells as much as the drawings; each event is discovered at a different height and horizontality. An extract from the traveler's logbook, printed in large format, faces each stage and gives voice to the expedition's narrator.
