Round in shape, this book is inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin's essay The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction. The science-fiction author reflects on the stories that have been told since the dawn of time in which relationships of world domination are rooted. She then urgently invites us to find other forms and strengths of storytelling. In response, SAC is a fiction in the form of a basket that fills up, as events are gleaned along the way.
